Part-Time Community Worker
Earls Colne Parish Council is inviting applications for the position of Part-Time Community Worker. Position Details
The role involves working 15 hours per week, which may include some weekends and bank holidays. The position is offered at a rate of £14.13 per hour (SCP 9) and is a fixed-term contract lasting until 31st October 2026. The successful candidate will be entitled to pro-rata holidays, (based on 28 days per year).
Main Duties
The Community Worker will be responsible for grass cutting and maintaining flower beds and planters across the village. Additionally, they will ensure all equipment is kept clean and in good condition. The role also requires supporting the wider team and providing cover when necessary. Other duties include assisting with painting and minor repairs to Parish Property, such as the village hall, allotments, workshop, and car parks.
